enter maiden twilight [November 24, 2006] Orchids in shades of peridot green clumped together in the princess’ hand as she rode the horse of sable towards the university. Golden tresses knotted and overlapped each other from the zephyr, the twilight maiden felt anything but intrepid in such a place as Desai. Fingers slightly trembled as they touched the jeweled reigns of the horse, Princess Zelda eyed the hustle and bustle on the sidewalks covered by beech trees. The trees, painted in the autumn hues of scarlet, apricot, and canary yellow, reminded her of home. Hyrule seemed such a great distance away nevertheless, the two lands shared similar trees though. Nodding, Zelda took note of the beech trees and shuddered at the urbanized place ahead of her, something she had never seen before. Downtown Desai appeared with towering headquarters, loftier than the castle she remained in throughout her life in Hyrule. To the other side of the street, beyond the vast skyscrapers, remained run-down factories of sorts. Zelda noticed that this reminded her of the slums in Hyrule and again after observation, she nodded and took note of how other worlds too had their share of unfortunate areas. For a ruler of such a distant, diverse place as Hyrule, Desai appeared nerve-wracking and an experience of its own, adapting to this metropolis of a place she decided to spend time schooling at. Still, grasping onto the reigns of the horse escorting her to the university, her pink bottom lip quivered. For once, Princess Zelda felt uneasy and such a place as Desai would make her overcome this and her lack of sociality. lullaby.
